Here are some of the things our clients are saying about our programs:
SPRING PREP PROGRAM 2008
Hi Mike,
Bar none, it has been the best hockey camp Mike has
attended. The practices were up-beat, high tempo and very informative. He is
better for it. If you do it next year I know Mike would be very interested
again. In fact I think he would be disappointed if he didn't get the opportunity
to repeat. Mike won't be in the Ottawa area this year but you can
always contact us with information for next year. In closing, there are many characters in the hockey world
and many of an unscrupulous nature. You, however are the real deal. I would
recommend your program and you as a person directing young hockey players in a
heartbeat.

Hey Mike,
I just wanted to write to say thanks for having me in the endavour
program. I have learned all the things you have taught me and I am bringing it
into my game. Thank you to you and everyone else who helped for all of your
teaching and support. I look forward to using all of the techniques you have
taught me. If you ever have ice time or future groups, just know I'll walways be
excited and will look forward to attend. Please keep me in mind. Look forward to
seeing you in the near future and around the rinks. Have a good summer.
__________
Mike,
Many thanks for organizing such a wonderful program. Kyle
has learned a tonne and has enjoyed learning undr your tutelage. I look forward
to future collaborations with all of my kids.
__________
Mike,
I would like to thank you for all the work you
& your staff put into spring traing program. Matt learned more in the time
with you than he has for awhile. You seemed to keep the players interested
& always wanting to learn more from you. Tracey & I appreciate the information you
& your guests were able to provide Matt & us. I wish we were able to make
all the sessions, as
I'm sure it would have been beneficial to
us.

I know, I know...you don't want to hear from me as I am always the biggest fan
of Mike Pilon, but you are going to anyway...Dustin came in last night more
pumped then ever before. He has thoroughly enjoyed this program and sad to see
it end. He loved the speaker and topic last evening and it was fitting that it
was in the middle of exams. You have surpassed my expectations once again.
Please let us know of any programs you are doing in the future. We would love
to be involved if time permits.
__________
Hey Mike: Thank you very much for your efforts. You are right about the program being a big success. Sam totally enjoyed the experience. It is the best value i have gotten for my dollar in a long time.
___________
Mike,
Just letting you know I will not be able to go to
tonight's practice. I have an early exam at 8:15, so i need to study and get
some sleep. Since I won't be there to thank you in person, I would just like to
say what an honour it has been to work with you and everyone else that helped
out. It made me proud to be able to be in this camp and believe I have learned a
tremendous amount from it. Thanks again. Hope to see you in the near future.
Keep in touch.
SUMMER 2008
Thanks Mike
I think you already know but I would give the camp a 10 out of 10. For me the ultimate test was my son's lack of fading of his enthusiasm as the week went on. He was just as keen to go to the arena on Friday as on Monday. Great job.
See you at a few of the upcoming weekend camps.

Hey Mike,
Great hockey camp!!! Jake really enjoyed it and feels he's learned alot in the week long camp. The "Cheat sheet" is a great tool for the players as a review / refresher. I'd like to thank you and all your staff for putting on a great hockey experience for the players. I especially like the fact that it was a defence camp, as it's difficult to find defence specific camps. I think it's crucial in the development of a young defenceman that the entire camp was dedicated for their development of defensive skills. I know Jake loved sweating out the drills that your team of instructors put them through, and wants to do it again next year. I'll be checking out our schedules and trying to fit in some of the clinics in August. Hope to see you soon.
Mike
SUMMER 2007
Aaron loved the camp last summer at Barrett Arena and wants to go again this summer. He loved the ice sessions and shocked us by enjoying all the conditioning sessions. He was the last cut from AAA and wants to make the team next year and he thinks your camp will get him there. Please reserve one goalie spot for him and our triplets will be old enough to attend the following summer. He really made a connection with you and is excited about the summer session. Getting a steady diet of pucks at your camp did him wonders and more importantly, he had fun and felt good about himself. Your positive coaches is something he greatly missed this season. He has a goal to work towards and feels your camp is a key step in the process

That was a great defence clinic. I picked up some good stuff, and Jake loved it. I have a little story I'd like to share with you. Jake had a game later that day. He was inside his blueline when he picked up the puck, and drove down the boards towards the oppositions end. He burned the D with his speed creating a 2 on 1 and moved in to about 15 ft from the net and fed a beauty pass through the D to his centre who just redirected the puck into the net. After the game when I was congratulating him on a great feed (even though they lost 4-2) he was all excited to tell me how he did it. He said, "I learned it this morning at the defence clinic Dad, I saw the defenceman was holding his stick the wrong way to play the shooter and pass receiver based on which way they shoot, so I passed it through him 'cause I knew he couldn't stop it, and it worked!" It certainly justified getting up early on a Saturday morning. I think he learned more in that clinic in 50 minutes than he has all season. It was great finding a clinic that was specific to defence, and more importantly, the way you communicated and taught the kids, afterall, I always say "coaching is like a classroom on ice." Outstanding job on "teaching" the kids. We'll definitely be attending some more of your clinics. Again, I just wanted to take the time to say how well you taught the kids the drills. At the beginning, a number of them were all over the place scrambling, just as you'd see in a game, but by the end of the 50 minutes, they may not have stopped all of the plays, but were regularly in position to make a play to break up the pass or shot. I hate to miss the opportunity to recognize when someone does something so well, and you did just that.

Samuel loves your camps. We are also extremely pleased with the amount of attention and instruction that Samuel got - what a difference from most of the other camps Samuel has attended. He wants to try out for the Gloucester Rangers in August and we would really like him to be involved in any clinics that you may have in preparation for that.
We'll stay tuned to find out more.

I know my son Liam gave this year's another 5 star rating, same as last year. Considering it is a hockey only camp, competing against "sleep over" and celebrity camps and the like, you should feel proud that it is the best due to the hockey. I am definitely interested in your new offerings and will be checking them out.
Regards,
Rick

I wanted to thank YOU for holding such a great camp for the kids -- my son (Eric) absolutely LOVES your camp and can't stop talking about it. You seem to have a great way with they kids where you are able to teach them and push them to work hard while they hardly realize that they are doing it.
Keep up the good work and I know Eric will participate in more of your camps and clinics in the future.

Thanks Mike! Wade loves hockey and he was so excited to attend your hockey camp - He advised that he learned many new hockey techniques and he especially enjoyed the off-ice training! He is confident that he is ready for his Rangers try-out and continues to do many of the streches and exercises you taught him. Wade would definately be interested in some private training and we will review your site when it is up and running....currently in construction when we accessed it.
Once again, thank you so much for giving him a rewarding hockey camp!
