Mike Pilon

Mike is a native of Munster, Ontario and a graduate of Brock University.  Mike played five years of Junior hockey in the Ottawa and Golden Horseshoe area, as well as two seasons of Senior "A" hockey in Wyoming in the U.S. Sr. A loop.  He also won two Canadian University Field Lacrosse Championships while at Brock.  Mike has vast experience in player development and consultation, having attained his Master Level Coach certification from USA Hockey.  He has multiple coaching symposium experience, having also worked with the inaugural season of CBC's "Making the Cut".  Passionate about his work with an infectious attitude, he is a strong communicator and has international instructional experience in the UK, Italy, and Slovenia.  Mike has worked with over 100 NCAA athletes and a dozen current NHL players and possesses a strong network within the game.

Mike Beasley

Mike - originally from Montreal - played three years of junior hockey and one year of college hockey in same city. He attended Plattsburgh State University in New York on a hockey scholarship. Other playing experience includes the Atlantic Coast Hockey League and Quebec Senior League.  He participated in the CBC Television show "He Shoots, He Scores" (Lance et Compte).  Mike also holds a degree from Carleton University with a BA in Law and has gone on to a successful career in sports journalism covering professional and amateur sports throughout Canada.  Mike’s work can regularly be seen in Metro Ottawa, the Ottawa Citizen and Hockey Now. Other articles have been published in The Hockey News, Ottawa Sun and Score Golf.  The “Beaser” has a lot to offer any budding hockey player and loves to see players improve and is willing to put the time in to make that happen. His calm but direct approach to teaching is what separates him from other instructors.

Jamie Dumont

Jamie Dumont is a native of Lewiston, Maine, and played his college hockey at his Alma Mater: Oswego State University.
Jamie is a professional in every sense of the word - passionate about his work and a student of the game.  Well respected among coaching circles for his dedication to his craft, Jamie has worked with numerous professional coaches in player development and has a great grasp of the talent pool both nationally and internationally.

Greg Riley

Greg is a product of the Ottawa Valley where he got his start coaching in West Carleton. He has coached for over 25 years at all levels and age groups in minor hockey. His diverse background includes coaching in the house league “A” and the double “AA” programs as well as working with the development program in Nepean. He had the responsibility for talent assessment, player selection and assistant coach for the Ottawa 67’s minor AAA summer program 1986 birth year, which has graduated many players to successful OHL and NCAA division I careers. His coaching career took an interesting twist when he became involved with roller hockey taking on a team of twelve year olds to a bronze medal in the Canadian national championships. His continued coaching and developing of this team along with their success in international competitions saw them invited to represent Canada in the 2005 Men’s World Championship in France.

Marc Robitaille

Marc is a graduate of the Gloucester Rangers program, having grown up in the area and played his minor/junior hockey here.  He followed this by attending Northeastern University on a hockey scholarship where he earned All-American honors and a free agent contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.  After two seasons with the Leafs organization, Marc returned to Ottawa to pursue his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Ottawa.  Since that time, he has also earned his Certified Financial Planner Professional Designation.  He is CHA  Level One certified, and has participated in the SPEAK OUT program.  A strong presence with a unique ability to communicate effectively with goalies, Marc has been a valuable addition to the staff.

Chris Valentine
Chris began his career in 1978 at St. Louis University. He was taken in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft in the 10th round by the Washington Capitals. Starting with the 1981-82 NHL season he played for the Capitals and their farm team, the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League. He played 107 NHL games in this time. In the 1984-85 NHL season he decided to play in Germany for DEG in Düsseldorf. In 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1996, Valentine led DEG to the German national championship. By the end of his career in 1996 he had played 571 games for DEG. DEG has retired his number, #10. After the end of his player career he became a coach. He was head coach for DEG in 1997.  In 1998 he changed to the EV Landshut, later to Adler Mannheim and in 2001 to the Krefeld Pinguine. In December 2006 he took over the Black Wings Linz in the Austrian league.  Born in Belleville, ON - Chris now resides in Kanata and works in the financial business.

Martin Parfitt

A native of Chelmsford Essex, in the UK, Martin has been involved in coaching for over 20 years, and has worked with both junior and senior teams at all levels. He is an International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Level 3 / Advanced Level Coach and is a Technical Director/Course Instructor for the English Ice Hockey Association (EIHA).  He has coached at club, Regional and National team levels, as well as being a Mentor coach for the National Coaching Program.

Dave Capps
Originally from Romford, Essex but now residing in Chelmsford, Essex in the UK, David has been coaching for over 11 Years and has worked with both Junior and Senior teams at most levels. David is an International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Level 2 Coach and has coached at both Club and Regional Levels.

Sean Easton

Sean started out as a junior in his home town of Chelmsford, in England. Having progressed to the men’s senior team, the Chelmsford Chieftains.  Sean is presently playing for the Streatham Redskins of the EPIHL.  His dedication as a player - and now as a coach - has led to him coaching at both club and regional levels.

Gary Shaw
Gary was born and raised in the county of Flintshire and started playing hockey at 16, playing competitively until he was 42. Gary was instrumental in establishing a junior club in 1992,  achieving his coaching levels that same year. Over this time, Gary has aided aspiring players from the local area to play in Britain's top league.  Gary's extremely passionate about the sport and it's continuing development in this country -  ensuring that every player's experience is a positive one - from the recreational to competitive athlete.  Last year he took part in an online study with U.S.A. Hockey, this year hoping to pursue and attain his Level 3 in Ice Hockey U.K.
