What is Endeavour Sports Group

What is ESG?

Endeavour Sports Group was founded to help provide instruction, guidance, and support to players and coaches alike.
We are a group of individuals locally, but with extensive networks within the game of ice hockey at the amateur and professional levels - on all sides of the sport (administrative, participant, coaching, media, advisor, etc).

As a multi-faceted company, we are small but extremely sincere in our dealings with our clients.  We know our strengths and limitations - but through our network can work towards identifying our clients needs, and the steps necessary to address them.

We deal with athletes from across the spectrum male or female; elite or recreational; youth or adult - you name it, we can support it.

Philosophy:

ESG is a company committed to working with athletes, coaches, and administrators in an effort to ensure a positive hockey experience which empowers the athlete with the skills, experience, character traits and qualities which they will carry with them both on and off the ice.  This is accomplished through a hockey curriculum demanding non-negotiable standards and a sincere desire on the part of our staff to see the athletes and coaches grow within this great game.  There is no secret in our approach – effective communication and a creativite approach to teaching the game - with a definite emphasis on the use of progressive curriculums, situational teachings, and small-area games.

Our instructional methods involve drills with:

  • High Volume of Repetition
  • High Intensity
  • Skill Specific
  • Short Duration
  • Creative Thinking
  • Game-Like Scenarios

We are passionate about what we do and we demand that same committment from our participants.  We trust that this attitude will overcome many obstacles along the players development.  We are non-negotiable in our standards – player's will perform the desired actions appropriately, with immediate feedback.

Attitude – it affects everything an individual does. This word is the key to a player's development and success.  They will face adversity in many forms, and this one word will set the foundation for any future progress.
